Commercial Deposit

• The digital commercial deposit slip is currently being used as a pilot* for customers who have hired locally licensed cash-in-transit (CIT) / armored car vendors to deliver their cash deposits for centralised processing.
• Branch walk-in customers can choose not to utilise digital commercial deposit slip and keep to the current paper-based process (which is unchanged) for over-the-counter deposits. However, clients are encouraged to prefill the digital commercial deposit slip online and print in advance to their branch visits for faster over-the-counter processing time.

When you open the Commercial deposit slip form you will not be able to enter your account number straight away, however when you enter a number into the count field for a currency, the account number field will become editable and mandatory before submission. You can then enter the account number you wish that currency to be deposited in to.

Yes, please input the same account number into all the fields if you wish for all currencies to be transferred into the same account. Similarly, if you wish different currencies to be deposited into different accounts, please reflect this in the account number field for the given currencies.

You will receive a confirmation of success submission on screen, with a corresponding email sent to the email address inputted on the form for your own reference.

• For clients who have hired cash-in-transit / armored car vendors: If you have filled out your commercial deposit slip and received a successful submission notice and an email copy of your slip, please print a copy of the prefilled slip and place it in the cash deposit bag for pick up.
• For branch walk-in clients: please print a copy of your slip and take your cash deposit to the nearest HSBC branch for processing.

Yes. Once the information has been prefilled correctly online, you will have to print a physical version of the form and place it in the cash deposit bag.

The digital commercial deposit slip is currently being piloted and the process will be reviewed. Upon the completion of the pilot period, the Bank reserves the right to reject or levy an extra charge for cash deposit bags delivered by cash-in-transit (CIT) / armored car vendors with missing or incorrectly filled digital deposits slips.
